Pat i Angie połowę życia spędziły razem, mieszkając w ciasnym, ale przytulnym i przepełnionym miłością mieszkanku, otaczając się wspierającymi przyjaciółkami i rodziną. Gdy Pat niespodziewanie umiera, Angie, po niemal czterdziestu wspólnych latach musi zmierzyć się zarówno z żałobą, jak i presją ze strony rodziny partnerki. Bliscy Pat zaczynają kwestionować jej prawo do wspólnego domu i dziedzictwa, które razem stworzyły.

Pat and Angie have spent half their lives together, living inacramped but cosy flat filled with love. They are surrounded by supportive friends and family. When Pat dies unexpectedly, Angie, after almost forty years together, has to face both grief and pressure from her partner's family. Pat's relatives start questioning Angie's right to the shared home and legacy they have created together.

Director Ray Yeung portrays the intimate relationship between the seniors with remarkable tenderness and empathy, while pointing out the social and cultural inequalities that affect all thecharacters. The film raises important questions about thedefinition of family in today's world: do blood ties always have more value than long-standing love and shared history? Inthe background, there is a critique of the capitalist reality ofHong Kong, where real estate is beyond the reach of most andthe dream of a home often leads to immoral ploys.
